I would love some critique from those who do the Brenzier method on how to improve. I had a lot of trouble with getting the photos to align, I missed a few areas, this photo was supposed to be much bigger, with another line of photos on each side and the top, but they didn't align right in Photoshop CS4 or ICE. Any tips on how you make sure to overlap enough with a client right in front of you?

What do you think of this image? It was taken as part of a senior photo session we did.
I see today that the dress is overexposed, and now it looks a little warm too... I will fix that tonight. Any other critiques?

Taken with Canon 5DIII and 85mm 1.8 at f2 I think. about 15-20 images in this stitch, I had like 50 to make it bigger...
Thanks for looking!

If you begin with the subject .... do you even need the subject present to shoot the rest of the surrounding images? At least they can take a rest...right? Well, at least in a case such as this where the background is what it is and has no moving/changing elements?? I think this a neat method and would have loved to have seen it as you had intended it to be.

Yep, I had her do her pose, took 4 photos of her from top to bottom, then I pulled her out of the scene to do the rest. my problem was I skipped a row of images on the left and right somehow, it's easy to forget when you are in a rush. Plus my camera buffer was full, so It took a while after the first 20 pix. Next time I will switch to sRaw at least- no need for 21MP photos...

I think it looks pretty good. A little warm perhaps but I still like it. I've played with this method a couple of times and am still trying to get the hang of it completely. Try shooting it in JPEG next time. It'll probably help with the buffer issues. Of course you have to ake sureyou get all your settings right in the camera since you'll lose the RAW processing capability. I ran into that problem with my 50D's buffer on my first attempt...pretty irritating.

How far from your subject were you standing? Figuring that out is my next fix for my next attempt. I use my 85 1.8 for these as well by the way. Each other time I've tried this I've made sure that i was far enough away to get a full body shot with my 85 but I'm wondering if I get closer if I'll get a better result. I'm guessing as long as I'm not so close as to get a 3 inch DOF it should be ok.

Not sure how close I was, but her arms, head, down to mid torso fit in the first image on a full frame camera. (landscape direction, not portrait)

So she fit in 4 photos. I am definitely much closer than I think you are imagining. maybe 6-10 feet?

Well in my attempts, the subjects were really small compared to the rest of the photo which I think is becasue I was so far away that I was able to capture them in one shot. I'll definately have to give it a go a bit closer next time!
