I have a Canon Pixma Pro 9500 mk2 printer.

In the printer section on the control panel I have two settings to choose as defaults.
Do I set the default printer to XPS or leave as it already is to just show 9500 as the default?

Any help would be appreciated!

Leave it as 9500 default.
If you set it to xps then every time you print it will save your image to a file that can be viewed by the Microsoft xps viewer and send nothing to your printer.
