Dowitcher Close Up

Here is a closeup of one of the Dowitchers I photographed at Estero. Don't know if it is a Long-Billed or Short-Billed version of this bird, but I'm going to agree with Steve (Nighthound) that the placement of its eyes above the bill and the length of its legs makes it the latter. Interesting looking species, however. Seems similar to a Snipe or Woodcock.
