We’re told Sigma will announce a 135mm f/1.8 DG OS Art lens sometime in 2013. There could be up to 3 more Art lenses announced this year. We’ve previously heard they would be releasing a 24mm f/1.4 DG Art sometime in 2013.

There has been no mention of an f/2 or faster zoom for full frame cameras.

An update to the 50mm f/1.4 could also be on the horizon.

So, they're planning to go after the 135mm f/2L after 35L? :O

OS is Sigma's designation for Optical Stabilization, so yes.

as for the lens....it is a [CR1]Plausible rumor from a new source

so take that for what it is...

If Sigma is planning to release all the standard focallength primes in there Art serie (14-24-35-50-85-100-135-200) which are optically comparible to the 35, Canon would have a hard time with there L primes I think.

If the price is right of course.

I'm not sure I would pay more for the SIGMA if it's only "as good" as the Canon.
The canon is one of my favorite lenses.

I love that SIGMA is pushing the envelope though.
The last rumor became a press release the next day, so fingers crossed.
