This weekend I attended the Speed Sport East car show in Moncton, New Brunswick. At the show they had three Batmobiles on display. I was not pleased with the setup, as you had to pay $5 to really get close to the cars. However, once paid you had freedom to touch the cars (another negative).

The 1955 Lincoln Futura based car was a mess of hand-prints from kids drooling over it. As a result, I only took one shot and didn't bother with any processing.

The same can be said for Tim Burton's Batman / Batman Returns Batmobile. The high-gloss finish of the car quickly became a mess. Again, frustrated by the setup, a simple shot.

Lastly, the Christopher Nolan Batmobile, with its matte finish, stood up quite well to the grubby mits. However, while the car looked great, there was a cheesy "batmannequin" in the background. Yes, calling it a batmannequin is equally cheesy.

Sorry to all the Batman fans. The setup at the show frustrated me. Nonetheless, thanks for looking.

Actually, there are three of them. The Buy It Now price is set at only $499,000! (external link)

Maintenance manager, therefore functionality wins.

Love Batmobile.
Who else agrees with me to say how ugly she got as she got younger?
Saw the first one when on display at Petersen's museum few years back. She is magnificent with no words to describe its beauty.
The other two were in LA autoshow with just some curiosity check but nothing more.

I still have my 1966 Batmobile Corgi 1/43 Scale toy and though well played with and not pristine, love it.

The Batmobiles definitely get wilder as time goes on.

Indeed. Better to be in a really cool tank then some lanky toy.
