Apr 24, 2013 00:53 | #9 Thank you all! I wish I could have gotten more details of the dress. If anyone has suggestions on how to do that, I'm all ears. It was around 3pm broad daylight. The AZ sun is quite harsh. He face would be too underexpose if I exposed for the dress.

He face would be too underexpose if I exposed for the dress. dont think the trees are a big deal since your wonderful lens blur them out like crazy anyway :P i think it's good as it is. if you had to, put it on a tripod and shoot two shots, one exposed for trees, another exposed for model, merge together, semi-HDR style but don't make it look HDR Gear List (5D3, 70-200 f2.8L IS II, Sigma 85mm f1.4, Sigma 35mm f1.4, 50 f1.8, 24-105L, Alien Bee lights, etc etc)

My recommendation on the second is to try and bring back some of those highlights on the dress. Also, maybe try dropping the saturation on the blue channel? It will help bring the wedding dress back to white instead of a slight blue hue. Trent Gillespie
