Don't you just hate it when someone vmad walks into your picture and gets in the way of your landscape? I don't mind, I think made for one of the best shots from a series at local falls today:cool:

They didn't fall, there was a group of teenagers showing up as I headed out that I had my doubts about though. I did want to stop here today though because at 60degrees it was much cooler than past ventures where the falls were covered by people swimming and scaling all over them, they've developed a pretty defined unofficial trail to navigate the sides and climb around.

No filter, just stopped down to f/32, ISO 100 and showing up later in the afternoon when the falls where under shade. That got me down to 1/2 second, and lots of rain for the last week, put enough water moving fast enough to make the rest happen. I did try and use my welding glass DIY filter for a few pictures, however it's been fickle as far as staying glue to a ring, and the 135 doesn't have a butterfly hood like the 16-35 so my rubber band truck doesn't work, today I tried holding it in place but over 30seconds I kept introducing too much motion and so all my filtered results came out blurry. But that's why I go to the stuff that's closer (these are the closest falls at about 45min away) to practice with so when I make the trip halfway across the state, or out of state, I will have hopefully ironed out a technique.

Oh ok, in the picture it almost looks like someone hanging off the edge by their legs. I always love these slow shutter speed shots :D
