Tiger Beetles and Friends........

I was able to make it back over to the local park today. This is the same park where I found literally hundreds of tiger beetles at last week. While tiger beetles are very hard to approach, with so many available subjects, you get a nice approach here and there. ;)

While the park's highlight are the tiger beetles, I did stumble on some puddling butterflies as well earlier in the week. :)

I plan on visiting the park again between classes tomorrow. :) If anybody lives in central NC I'd be more than willing to show you around....it's a macro photographer's dream location. :)
