path or track
not sure what to call it but it's real nice to walk along,
kind of bounces and is springy
the wooden slats are covering a lot of swampy land near the lakes

Love this shot, what a wonderful view. The colors are lovely. I love the way the path twists and turns, makes you slow down and take your time on your walk, and you get to keep your feet dry too:lol:  .

yes, it's ideal for children especially, thanks Dimitri

ha ha ha
I was on a road above the path
at times it is hidden from view and then the hedge goes down
and the path shows up

usually I am on that path but this time I had gone along the road
that's where the picture of the 'divided paths' was taken (in other post a while back)
very close by where I took the shot from

me climb a tree:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Nice shot!

Try a crop just about where the path leads out of the frame, different effect entirely, and the path becomes the main part of the image!

I must look up fracken :lol::lol::lol:

it's dead flat here too Frank
right beside the plains
thousands and thousands and thousands of acres of flat land
great to go out there
acres and acres of sky to see all together:lol: over head as well as acres and acres of green grass underfoot
this place in the photo is about 25 or thirty mile away
the mountains are not too far away from here at any time

[SIZE=3]Yea,i liked that Marie:lol::lol: , sometimes its good fun trying to imagine ourselfs doing things that we would never even dreamed of.

In another forum i remember, someone had a picture on and it didn`t get as good CC as he had expected to,so he came out and complained about it and explained that he had been to all that hasle to clime up a tree just to get that shot and nobody appreciated it.
As soon as i saw your picture, that thought came into my head.

It does, doesn't it?

What happens when you crop it like that is "creation of spaces"... two distinct spaces created on either side of the path, and a almost diagonal path to boot! :D

You have the eye.. keep shooting!
