[SIZE=3]Yea,i liked that Marie:lol::lol: , sometimes its good fun trying to imagine ourselfs doing things that we would never even dreamed of.
In another forum i remember, someone had a picture on and it didn`t get as good CC as he had expected to,so he came out and complained about it and explained that he had been to all that hasle to clime up a tree just to get that shot and nobody appreciated it.
As soon as i saw your picture, that thought came into my head.

I agree. it's good for us to venture into strange territory
and fight the fear

he should never have complained
it was his own choice to climb the tree,
not their fault

you don't hear the monkeys complaining , even if they fall out of the trees
( when taking a shot at a banana)

What happens when you crop it like that is "creation of spaces"... two distinct spaces created on either side of the path, and a almost diagonal path to boot! :D
You have the eye.. keep shooting!

I like it cropped for the reasons you say, very much
thanks Nevilleb

I like the way it captures the temperature as well as the scene.
Looks about 15 mile away from home...
Cheers,
Niall

Maynooth! although Houston is where we live today - lived all over the place last few years. I thought it looked like south Kildare.
Cheers,
Niall

Hi Neill

I love Maynooth

( I am about 20 miles from there)
the photo above was taken in County Wicklow though
I was just thinking of the song (it's a long way to Tipperary) when I saw you lived so far away from here
I took many photo's in Maynooth
even had my avatar showing this water shot (below) for a long time

here's just a few to make you homesick (or less)
taken in the college grounds)

love the area
spring summer or fall
