Hi Marie, thanks for the photos of home, they are great. I used to explore the college a lot when I was a kid and still go for walks there most times when I get home. I have tried to take pictures, particularly of the pond in 3 that never really capture any of it - these do.
Thanks,
Niall

Beautiful shot Marie. Love the way that first the path, then the crisp greens lead the eye to the soft blue of the hills beyond.

glad you saw them
( and didn't mind)

I keep thinking you are living there (now) for some reason
and that the time is the same as ours but (I think, again) you are about eight hours behind us

I haven't lived there for a few years, but my wife and I travel a lot and the folks are there so it still gets called home, for me - she calls the north of England home and we'd both love to call the west of Ireland home someday!. It was great to see photos of home posted on a site like this.
Thanks again.

many thanks Niall

hope you both get around to living in the West someday.

your boat shot is wonderful by the way (on the boat post)

my eldest brother who lives in Australia would love to come back also and have a place here
but time is passing
as it does
and it's getting too late in ways.
there since the late fifties , he has a grown up family in Sydney
so it's a case of one foot in Ireland and one in Australia
it can be a difficult situation for many especially as they get older

also property prices have gone through the roof over here in the past few years, making it even harder for many to come back

Thanks for the comment on the boats.
We looked at houses last year and it is getting really tough.
