I agree w/Scott that they are the fairer sex of the Cardinals and yours looks like she's in her prime.

I agree they are in my opinion the fairer. I love watching them, but the females around here are pretty skiddish.

Beautiful shot ... the females here are skiddish to say the least also .. when you see the male you can guarantee the female is very close just have to find her!
