Photo from a recent shoot with a local Dance Studio.

One of the solo dancers.

slight blur on her foot which was too bad, but everything else was perfect on this shot in my eyes.

1D Mark IV, Canon 24-70 2.8.

ISO:100, 6.3f, 1/200 sec

Softboxes left and right

bare lights against white seamless left and right at +3 exp

Good jump, but I think I'd have preferred a bit more face.

I don't mind the motion blur in the foot.

I'd also prefer a little bit of face to engage you a bit more. The other thing I think this photograph lacks (for me, and I hope you don't mind the critique) is context for the jump in the totally white background - you imagine that she's jumping but it isn't clear how high and that's part of the spectacle and suspended belief of capturing jumps in dance photography - seeing the dancer momentarily achieve something visually improbable. I think a little more frame of reference for her jump is needed.
