Nice! Brings back childhood memories of those cool and wet limestone tunnels. Great shots!

You can go on tours. Lovely shots - 12,800 and 3200 ISO are so clean! Amazing camera.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Thank you! If you submit to a search and metal detector, you can pay to go on a tour of the facility. Unfortunately since 9/11 that tour has been shortened and doesn't show you as much.

Thank you! I love that with the 6D I can park my camera in Auto-ISO and just shoot based on shutter and aperture without worrying about excessive noise!

Amazing shot of the penstock Ben, I tried to get a couple photos like that by holding the camera against the glass for longer exposures but the lights kept getting blown out by the time I got a good exposure on the rest of it (only have a 50D), nice sharp picture of the generator room too.

L.J.G., it's part of the full dam tour, $30 per person if I remember right, but it is so worth it. You get to see things that you most likely will never see anywhere else. They take you right down inside the dam, through some of the tunnelways that were used during the original construction, and you can really appreciate what the men who built it had to go through (literally) to build the dam.

Personally, I was awestruck at the craftsmanship and attention to detail, especially coming from a construction background. I spent the better part of a day there, got there early, around 6:30am to get some sunrise photos, and I was 2nd in line at the tour center a little after 8:00am (opens at 9:00.) Now that I know what to expect, I definitely want to go back, plus I forgot to go up on the Bypass Bridge for some photos too.
