Apr 22, 2013 19:41 | #3 samsen wrote in post #15856475 It is good as shown. Definitely No to Sepia or coffee. Those will bring a sense of Nostalgia and that is not what the picture is all about. But then you may want to go crazy with color to bring the Wild side of contemporary on emphasis. Say an orange shade of yellow or Olive green, or a light blue. Try and see if you like it that way. I was just wondering on what you would call this b&w tone......it's not my work, but I have an image in mind that this tone would be perfect for Facebook-- http://www.facebook.com/AndrewShoemakerPhotography

I actually think it's just neutral and appears warmer to me for some reason.......I downloaded a copy and set it to grayscale and there's no difference when I turn the layer on or off. Weirdness Facebook-- http://www.facebook.com/AndrewShoemakerPhotography

Apr 22, 2013 23:58 | #8 Thanks for the analysis everyone! I usually do landscapes in which I'm almost always after a high contrast black and white. I usually reset the color swatches and use the gradient map to make a really nice black and white, but sometimes I use Silver Efex Pro Facebook-- http://www.facebook.com/AndrewShoemakerPhotography
