My own 400/5.6 finally.
It is about 20-30% costlier in India because of the heavy custom, I tried to get it from the US and even tried to get a used one from POTN but couldn't make it work.
I over exposed some(need more practice).
Thanks for viewing, CnC welcome.

Looks like you're already off to a great start with that lens REC500 (might want to change to REC400 now). That's a very enjoyable series of captures...especially the Kingfisher. What a unique image!
I know you'll love that lens so bring us more.....

Congratulations on a fabulous acquisition! I debated long about getting one myself before finally settling on a 100-400.

OT: Your contrast settings is probably a bit high. Dialing it back a bit will improve your photos.

Gear List

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Thank you Allan, Steve, Steve_Douglass and Scott, yes it's an amazing lens and I will try to bring the best I can.

Foggiest, thank you, my home town is about 60KM from Cherrapunjee so I think I can share your feelings about the rain.

Scrumhalf, thanks, I also considered the 100-400 before deciding to get this one, great lens. And thank you for pointing out the contrast setting. I got a little greedy for sharpness and set the picture style to 5,3,3,3. I will have to play around with these settings until I find a good combination.
