A recent photo that I had been mulling over in my head for a few weeks and the weather finally cooperated enough for me to shoot it.

Your head must be a very strange place....very strange indeed. :)

I really like this concept although I noticed the feet are pointing camera left even though the head is facing camera right. Really bugs me that the body is not aligned. I'd like the body to be aligned and also rotated just slightly more subject left. That would make this picture perfect to me.

I like this concept a bunch. The tilt focus works great and the location matches the visual tone. Good one.

Good concept but like SoCalTiger mentioned, your stance looks really awkward, i find it distracts fromt he shot.

I think the stance is part of the shot? Works for me.

It is quite strange yes. These are the thing I dream up while running or driving on long boring Nevada roads.

I usually try to leave the interpretation up to the viewer, but I thought I'd explain a bit. The feet are (to me) meant to symbolize the path in the light while glancing over into the dark. Just how I picture it, but that is the beauty of photography, the many many interpretations.

Thanks! It's actually not tilt focus, it's a Brenizer method shot, effectively simulating a 17mm lens @ ƒ/0.40. I blogged a blog about it here (external link)
