Hi,
I tried to search this, but did not find what I was looking for.
A bunch of my image folders now have new sub-directories,.

I've been toying with Lightroom and trials of different raw converters, so i can't figure out which app made the directories. (or indeed, if they were made by different apps. Previews and Thumbs seems redundant, so it could be two apps.)

The directorates are:

/htmls
/previews
/thumbs

Do any or all ring any bells?
Is this lightroom?

thanks in advance.

By default Lightroom will only create a Lightroom x Catalog.lrcat file and a Lightroom 4 Catalog Previews.lrdata folder containing your preview files in the location you chose at setup (the default location in Windows is the Pictures folder) . It will not make any files or directories in your image folders.

Weird.

After more messing around, I can't think what made these then.

C1 makes it easy, it's subfolders are all labeled "CaptureOne"
I've been using the other apps for years, (Bibble and BreezeBrowser) so It can't be them, as if it was, I'd have been dealing with this for years.

Were you experimenting with the Web Gallery module in Lightroom? That might be the cause.

Not Lightroom. The web module creates /content and /resources folders.

Thanks, I have found that the culprit for "htmls" and "previews" is Bibble RAW ....

I suppose it's possible that I inadvertently created a "Web Contact Sheet" in C1, (or Bibble for that matter) but it was certainly by accident!

I assume this is where "thumbs" came from as well.

thanks for your help.
