Are there any wireless triggering solutions other than PocketWizard, Phottix, and RadioPopper that allow adjustment of flash settings from the camera?

Ideally I'd love a non-TTL trigger with the aforementioned capability. Surely most of the cost of TTL transceiver systems is in the software engineering?

EDIT:

I don't wish to upgrade to a 5D3 / 6D or 600EXRT

and a lot of different Canon ETTL compatible speedlites via the Yongnou YN-622c ETTL triggers.
They offer remote power control for the lights via the camera external flash menu. Easy to use.

Yep, exactly the same here. Godox Ad-180 / Cheetah Light CL-180 with the Godox FT-16 / CL-Tx/Rx set. Loadsa YN-622Cs for Canon ETTL-compatible speedlights. Just playing with a YN-622C / Godox AD-180 combination at this very moment.

Phil ǁ Kershaw Soho Reflex: 4¼" Ross Xpres, 6½" Aldis, Super XX/ABC Pyro in 24 DDS, HP3/Meritol Metol in RFH, Johnson 'Scales' brand flash powder. Kodak Duo Six-20/Verichrome Pan. Other odd bits over the decades, simply to get the job done - not merely to polish and brag about cos I'm too mean to buy the polish!

Nice thing about the YN-622 is that it will fire the CL-180 via the sync plug in one group while firing speedlites in other groups in ETTL or Manual mode. I've found it easiest to put the CL-180 in Group C and then have the speedlites in groups A and B. That permits using the ETTL ratios while firing the CL-180 as a manual flash. Keeping the CL-Tx handy permits making quick power adjustments on the CL-180 via the CL-Rx unit.
