Marble Temple, Bangkok

The newest of Bangkok's major temples, Wat Benchamabophit, the Marble Temple, was completed in 1911 from imported Italian marble.

The temple itself is very well captured, but the sky treatment is somewhat jarring...

We're you using a 9 or 10 stop ND filter to "erase" the crowd and that's why the motion blur in the clouds? Or is this a composite of multiple exposures?

It was a three-shot panorama taken with a 10-stop ND filter. Although I used it more to blur the clouds than to erase the people - the place was deserted at the time, apart from a small group of photographers next to me...

I think the sky adds to the mystic of the temple!

How the heck do you shoot a three shot panoramic photos with the 10-stop and keep the clouds and exposure together?

There was sufficient overlap for the streaks of clouds to blend together nicely. Also, the streaks were so long that any movement of the clouds between shots was essentially cancelled out into one long streak.
