It wasn't announced. Much harder to browse photos now.

oh i guess i dont really browse flickr anymore, i usually go through 500px for that

I've been using the new flickr since they finally made it possible to copy links to share embedded images but would switch back to the old so I could copy links to share embedded private images. I'm going to have to figure out some other way to do this now.

Anyway haven't shared anything in here for a long time or had much time to even shoot lately, but here's one of the shots from the last I tried to get the sunset.

Flickr is turning into a right nightmare. Ive not posted in ages anyway but it seems after the last time it changed a lot stopped using it, now more will stop using it.

i have to agree, i do not like the new changes and it is extremely slow.

pbase is looking really good and haven't changed in years.

Agree with lovemyram, I tried the new version and then switched back, now another change without any option to use previous version..

What I do to post here now with the new change is, click on more info, when window pops up I click on view all sizes, use the size I want and then copy, then paste the link here and use the insert image box the yellow with black in it on top, and you will get your image posted

When you click on share this photo, there is no bb code which was there before this recent update, which most used to get there images posted here. Makes me think, they have no idea how important the bb code is.

Also agree, this change has slowed things down...

EDIT... I see newporthomie just was able to use the bbcode, as the info on bottom of image is included using the bbcode. Either his subscription was not updated yet, or he found away around it.

Update.... I just discovered if you click on share this photo, then click on the pin, then click on size desired and copy, and just paste here it will post your image...

Yeah, I just used shared that last photo using the share bbcode and have been doing for a long time now on the new flickr(since I noticed they added it back in). I just have a problem if I upload a photo as private it won't let me get the bbcode from the share tab unless I switch the photo to public(I mostly want to be able to share private photos for thing like the games/competitions were it's not my own photo or had to edit it for the game).
