it jumped on back of my hand...not the best image as shooting with a 5D3 + flash bracket + flash + diffuser one handed was sorta heavy lol

I've tried the 24-105 on my 5d3 and not got anything sharp, but on my 60d it's awesome. I will get round to trying some manual focus shots hopefully this evening, that should give me the answer if it needs some camera adjustment for that lens. I have taken some good sharp shots with my 400 f5.6 by auto focus in live view and using the 2 second timer.

I have a similar problem with my 5D mark III. My 24-70 and the mark III are not getting along too well. I can take tack sharp pictures with my 6D and 24-70 but I have yet to get one eyelash sharp with the 5D and 24-70. I've been trying to micro calibrate the lens for the last few days and I think I finally got it.

I'll shoot some stuff tomorrow and see how it does.
