May 20, 2014 22:04 | #7990 bx338 wrote in post #16916481 I've tried the 24-105 on my 5d3 and not got anything sharp, but on my 60d it's awesome. I will get round to trying some manual focus shots hopefully this evening, that should give me the answer if it needs some camera adjustment for that lens. I have taken some good sharp shots with my 400 f5.6 by auto focus in live view and using the 2 second timer. I have a similar problem with my 5D mark III. My 24-70 and the mark III are not getting along too well. I can take tack sharp pictures with my 6D and 24-70 but I have yet to get one eyelash sharp with the 5D and 24-70. I've been trying to micro calibrate the lens for the last few days and I think I finally got it. Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 6D, Canon 24-70 F/2.8L, Canon 70-200 F/4L IS, 135mm 2.0 L, 85mm 1.8, Speedlite 430 II.
