I have bought a few things from them recently and they have been great.

However, their prices on Canon stuff went up substantially about a week ago.

Everything through this place is brand new? Think I am going to pick up a Sigma 50-500 and this seems like a decent place to do it but don't want to get screwed over in anyway.

I believe Canon started enforcing retail prices for their equipment--that's why the 6D shot up in price.

Glad to hear everyone's success stories!

But greentoe doesn't advertise prices so it doesn't seem like it should be effected by MAP.

I have a question for anyone who has used it. When you put in your price, there is a meter showing how likely you are to get your price. What level have people used and been successful?

Canon 5D3, Canon XTI (IR converted), 24-70 f2.8L, 16-35 f4L, 50 1.4, 70-200 f2.8L, 100 2.8 macro, 430 ex & 580 exII speedlights.

I was emailed regarding my offer:

I noticed that your offer for the camera lens still hasn't been accepted so I reached out to some of our retailers and one responded that they'd accept $---. I checked around online and this item seems to be $369 everywhere else, so this is still a decent savings.

I accepted the new price, and then Unique Photo accepted. Lens is on its way.

What was the price? (and why are we so secretive about it?)

Sorry, I dunno why I was all secrety, it just felt natural. Accepted price was $25 off.

I actually just saw that as well. Might be a good time for a 85mm
