Put it an offer for the 85 1.8 and got a counter offer the same day. Shipped the same day I accepted. Definitely a fan of Greentoe and the retailer used. Don't forget to sign up for the new member rebate when you join.

I have seen people discuss how Greentoe rebates affect the acceptance price. I did notice the same. I had 2 offers going on the 24-70 II lens, one had a Greentoe 5% St. Patrick's Day rebate and the other did not. The offer that did not have Greentoe rebate had a lower accepted price and ended being cheaper at the end.

Andrew was great to deal with throughout the whole process.

Nice deals! I bought the 24-70 II from Greentoe back in August for $1699 after rebates. ( A few days before Canon announced their price drops! LOL ) It's a stellar lens. I sometimes wish it had IS, as I'm not getting any younger, nor is my arthritis improving with age, but when you nail it, that lens is awesome.

I just had an offer accepted on a Tokina 16-28 f2.8 lens. If it works as it should I'll have a nice lens for star photography at a nice little savings. $579

I've had some luck with Greentoe accepting my offer for the Sigma 50 A ($815). On the other hand, my offer for the 100L was not accepted. The lowest they would do was $869 minus the $50 canon rebate. Ended up getting a used one

My lens is going back. Not GTs fault though.

Just got my Canon rebate plus Greentoe cash back for a 5DIII purchased at the end of February. The seller had also shipped to me within 4 days. The whole process went smoothly and Greentoe communication was very responsive. I will do this again for my next major purchase.

Just another shout out for GT. I got a 7Dmk2 in about a week and then got my rebate in about 4 weeks. Very pleased.
