I just bought from them. Put a lowball offer in and got a reply if I raised my bid to this, it would immediately be accepted. Got offer the following day of $2050. I said yes as long as they agree to ship it out that day via 2 day fedex shipment. They took the deal and took my money. I should have got it Saturday according to them but didn't end up getting it until Monday.

You don't find out who the seller is until after the bid is accepted. My vendor has very low and horrible reviews. Upon learning that I suspected something was going to go bad and even told GreenToe of my fears.

Up to that point everything went well. Received a message that would be sent Friday but never received shipping information. Friday comes with nothing and the customer service at Greentoe says it will get delivered Saturday.

They swore that it was shipped and I would receive it Saturday but they couldn't provide a tracking number, said they ship via a Amazon warehouse and sometimes the item ships before the tracking number makes it. I doubted everything because UPS doesn't deliver on Saturday.

Bottom Line no one knew what was going on. Let the GreenToe folks know on Saturday I didn't receive it. Monday I still don't have a tracking number....called Green Tree with no luck. Ended up calling the vendor themselves and received tracking number from them. Good to go, got the camera that day.

GreenToe did pretty much nothing in this deal except trade a few emails and they lacked the ability to track shipments. They also should probably look at working with companies that have good online reviews. Though mine eventually worked out, I wasn't feeling warm and fuzzy from the start and was expecting it to go bad. I was playing out scenarios in my head to get my money back and where to buy a 5D3, knowing would cost me more money due to expedited need now. I think GreenToe is viable, but they need to tighten up their processes and vet their vendors.

And Finally, better communications after the sale. They are emailing you every day to make the sale, but after the sale and need help as I did...beeeeeeeeeeeeeee​p.

I never did get a "sorry, we screwed up" from them.

A quick update on this experience. Greentoe was offering a cashback when I bought this camera, mine was $41. They wait to send it I suppose to make sure you don't return the item. I got an email from them on June 7th where I have to choose PayPal or Check. I chose check (I don't trust them with my PayPal info after this). They indicate a check takes an additional 1-2 weeks to process. I still haven't received it almost 2 months later.

They've also hired a customer service rep who emailed me about this entire incident offering me a $20 rebate on my next purchase. I'm not a fan of the discount on future purchases when a company screws up because it assumes I would buy with them again. Quite frankly they didn't handle this well, as a matter of fact they never apologized until this email 3 months after. They offer a rebate on a future purchase but I have still not received my rebate check which they claim was sent out on July 10th, it doesn't take 2 weeks for a letter to be delivered. They haven't earned my repeat business.

I get that stuff happens, but it's how a company responds is their true measure. They have totally dropped the ball with my 1st experience with them.

Just accepted $950 for the Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 G Macro lens ($1098 retail). Also, accepted their counter on Sony FE 28 f/2.0 for $410 ($450 retail).

This were my 2nd and 3rd purchases from them. Initially I bought a Siggy 50mm for about 10% off retail. All shipped from reputable authorized retailers.

Were you able to get a significant discount on a relatively new and popular lens?

A follow up to my previous posts. I mentioned before I was waiting on my cash rebate from GreenToe (I should have had it 2 months ago). Got called on the 28th of July from their "customer service" that the check was returned to them because the address was wrong (they have my address so was an error on their part). Anyway, Kirk said he would have it resent ASAP. It's been over two weeks, another fail on their part.

They may not think I will ever be a return customer and don't care how they treat me from this point, but they have failed every step of the way on this transaction and garnered no goodwill from me or shown they can be trusted for me to even give them another shot.

I know most people have had no issues with their transactions and stuff happens occasionally. I just happen to be that occasion where things went wrong. However, they have failed in every way to make things right.

Sorry to hear that. Did you have the option to get the cashback via Paypal and you just opted for the check instead?

Never tried the check option. Good to know it's not a reliable option.

What's the best price people are getting for a Sony A7II ?

I got my Canon 7D MkII using greentoe. The transition was pretty smooth. I received an email from Greentoe asking me if I was willing to raise my offer by a couple of dollars (I don't recall the amount). I didn't raise it and ended up getting the camera anyways.

I wil most likely use them again.

Snagged a Canon 60mm 2.8 Macro for $400.

Samyang 24 f/1.4 lens for $490. I was surprised to have it accepted so quickly. Cheapest I could find it was $530.
