Just figured i'd share some of my recent work. Met up with some friends and shot our buddies new (well, new to him) 458 and another friends 95 NSX. All shots were with my 5d mark III and either the 16-35 v1, 85L, or 100L and light painted. Wish we had more time to explore some more locations but it is what it is. Hope you guys enjoy!!

1. LOVE IT (NEEDS TO BE PRINTED AND FRAMED)

2. Do without the brake lights lit up.

3. The white sky kills it for me. Wish the roof would have extended all the way across.

6. Love It, but I think the roof needs to be lit so you get the full body line.

7. Wish the hood/would of had some light on it.

all great, helpful comments, thanks!!

sometimes when doing these it's not until you get behind the computer and realize "dammit, i don't have a good roof shot" or something. The other hard part is the car owner doesn't want to sit around for an hour while you get it right. your job is to get it done, and get it done quickly lol.

i AM going to try using the 6d with wifi to my tablet so I have a free 7" field monitor, and control wirelessly, should be pretty fun!

god i love the 458, great shots. I agree with the picture with the break lights, i feel it would benefit if they were off. That NSX is very clean as well.

Nice shots man

My exact thoughts too.

You can crop number 3 down just enough that the sky is all gone and it still frames up nicely. Possibly slightly too dark in the background if you do so, but it may be worth trying.

These all look really good. Only nitpicks are the taillights in #2 and a little over-dodge on the wheels on #5.
