Wild show. Sellout crowd and nice, bright lighting. Almost too bright since I was getting a lot of blown highlights that I had to fix in LR. Only wish I stayed the entire show so I could shoot MGK hanging upside down above the crowd from the rafters.

Good stuff! Shot him last year opening for Tech N9ne, would have attempted again this year, but the local nightclub doesn't have much for a photo pit...

5D MK 3 is a BEAST for concerts... I rented one for a show on Tuesday night and almost felt overwhelmed at times!

All of them are great. The crowd shot is superb! I also really like #6 with all the spray!

Thanks! I really liked that water spray in #6 too.

Yeah dannequin, my concert shots started looking so much better after I got the 5D Mk III. Mainly because of the high ISO performance. When I had my 7D, I'd never shoot above 6400 because of how bad the noise was. Now I can shoot @ 12800 on the 5D MkIII with no worries about muddy, noisy images.

Solid set, good action. I think I'd crop #3 either a bit looser or a bit tighter.

Thanks for the advice René. I played around with the crop on #3 a bit (originally was wider) but not 100% satisfied with how it is now. Probably should have left it wide.
