Hi All, I've been browsing the forum for a while and enjoyed looking at other members work. I thought I should fire up a few of my own, please bear in mind I'm a newbie but I would really appreciate any constructive criticism

I really like the b&w on the vintage racers, and the wide shots seems to work for the "era". On the rest, though, the backgrounds are really distracting from the bike/rider. Much tighter cropping would help, plus that's usually what you want with these guys anyway. Unfortunately, since your images are a bit soft, cropping tighter will make it worse. So the best thing to do is look for places on the track where your backgrounds will be less cluttered.

Not sure what your rig is, or your settings so I can't comment on those. Just make sure that you're using AI Servo and the center focus point.

Did OK for a newbie it takes time and practice but as said above a tighter crop if you can and make sure the solo bikes are not so centered leave some room to run into but crop in tighter behind the bike.

Location Belfast that means Road Racing real road racing thats what you wanna go shoot must be awesome so close to the action you'll get some amazing shots.
