I've been hoping to get this shot for a year and a half. There's a pair of Eagles at Poverty Point Reservoir here in Delhi, La. They often perch in the trees here in the mornings. Finally, yesterday morning, they landed in the trees in time to catch the setting Moon in the background.

I still haven't processed the image very much. This is a simple editing with crop, and exposure adjustment of the jpeg image. I also shot it in RAW, so I'm hoping that I'll be able to clean it up a little.

Shot with a Canon t2i and 100-400 lens. Thanks for looking, and if you have any suggestions on how to clean it up, let me know. Settings were 1/320, f/8, ISO800. Original image has been cropped to 1600x2400.
