I think I found the Samyang/Rokinon factory!!! It's in my city! :) :)

So I was just randomly doing some reading...and it turns out that the Samyang factory is in MY CITY (Masan, South Korea).

Armed with that knowledge (and my sweet-ass Korean reading/writing skills), I think I found where the factory is!!

In Germany some companys have a factory outlets. I don´t think Leica, Zeiss, Schneider Rodenstock have this.
In my hometown one can buy sometimes sport clothing prototypes.
And in Leverkusen near Cologne one could get Agfa film, chemistry and paper much cheaper in the BAYER shop -years ago when Agfa still exists.

Their moles found this post, saw the other "attack at dawn" comments and were waiting. Also, OP probably used a non-Samyang lens and they didn't see the humor in it.

Waterford would shatter any crystal judged to be imperfect at any stage in the production process, and recycle it. You'd think Samyang does the same thing and recycles its optical glass and the only thing in the dumpster would be the plastic bits...might make a nice pen holder!

Haha nah, that attack at dawn stuff is funny...sorry for the lack of response, I've been really busy, plus I'm getting rid of all my Canon gear (changed over to the Olympus OM-D with some superb lenses!), plus I just came back from 3 weeks in Europe...I know...life is tough.

Long story short...it's in a gated/guarded industrial complex...it's on my way to my friend's house and I pass it a couple of times a week, but usually I'm either in a hurry or I forget about it...one day I'll see if they'll let me in and report back!
