Man they grow up fast! 8th grade pre-dance pictures for a friend from work. I don't even think I had an 8th grade "dance" with limos, tuxedos, etc. Where does this money come from?? :-)

Right? Kids are growing up SO fast these days, it's hard to keep up. Soon they'll be having 5th grade proms...

wow she could seriously pass for early college. careful with the skintones. they're sort overexposed and losing texture... or maybe you also did some skin smoothing? overall great shots though.

Its all the make-up the girls where these days. My daughter does competitive cheer and yes 8th graders could pass for HS seniors. Images seem a little hot to me maybe over processed. Nice set.

These could be very good images but you are over processing them. I would like to see the originals honestly. You may have overexposed them to begin with but it is impossible to tell by the way you have processed them. In looking at your other threads it seems you are over processing all of your images. Sometimes less is more. Great eye though.

When I was in eighth grade I was still playing with dolls/Barbies. Now eighth graders ARE dolls/Barbies. Beautiful photos though.

Eye color seems to change quite a bit from photo to photo. I like them all, but just wondering if eye color might be more consistent?

Great comments everyone...

What I usually do (just to clarify my workflow), is they get original color, exposure/white balanced, etc, and then a few pics that I choose for "creative" edits...

For some reason for portraits, headshots, etc, I seem to converge on high-key style processing.

Thanks for all the comments, always great to hear from so many talented photographers
