OK, points taken on the house and tree pics :) Guess you had to be there, but how about a merge of both - which is what it looks like in real life :)

I will admit, I like the two together more than I did both of them separate. my only thought would be to kill the dead space on the bottom and show more sky on the top. Id have to see it though to decide which would be better... maybe even with the house centered vertically.

I would try to find a more dynamic angle. It seems as though this was taken at eye level while walking by. Anyone can see it from that angle. Try some low shots, some high (if possible) or just change it up a little so as to give the scary building a little more fright.

This is a much better composition; but I think the lush grass should be more subdued as in a muted reddish or straw color.

Maybe the house is just crooked, but maybe straighten the horizon?

I still feel the composition could be improved, its super cluttered, and the focus for me is not the house, but all those dead trees.
What were the settings on this That could be an issue as well.

All shots were:

7D
M
ISO 1000
1/320
70-200@70MM

f3.2

But keep in mind, the left side is a compoite of two images (house) and the right side (trees) is a stitch of 12 images...

All were taken from the same spot for the house, and then the trees. For the trees I used the Benzier method...

All that texture screams to be shot at sunrise or sunset with the light raking across the abandoned house.

As presented, IMO, it suffers from light better suited for portraits than "urbex" (ie, it's really flat...)

Yea, it's not that far from my house so I may re-visit/shoot it again...

Like the color version since there is a lot of grey. Agree with above posts.. Shoot at sunset, maybe as HDR depending on lighting. Perhaps even find yourself a rusty old bicycle to drop on the lawn...... Zombie house.

So I'm thinking a nice sunrise/sunset shot of this using the Benzier method, but what to use as the focal point?
