I've been reading reviews and comments about the 5dMkIII.
Just wondering (can't seem to find this)....it's difficult to see the information in the viewfinder of the 5dMkII when it's bright outside. Is it the same with the 5dMkIII?
Thanks.

It's difficult to see info when it's bright outside on a 5D2? That's news to me... I've had mine for a year and not once had any issues with it...it's as visible as any other Canon DSLR. -=Prints For Sale at PIXELS=-

When I am shooting in Manual with the 5dMkII in bright daylight, I can't see the information on the bottom and I move the dials. I have the exact same issue with my 5d2. Extremely hard to read the information in the viewfinder under bright outdoor conditions.

It can...but he's talking about the VIEWFINDER info...you know, the line of green stuff on the bottom of your VF. -=Prints For Sale at PIXELS=-

I have both those bodies and an A/B comparison right now confirms the impression gained shooting in bright light. I wear varifocals and the MkII VF info also drifts 'out of shot' far more than the 5Dc if you're slightly off-centre. ~ Wallace

Perching specs on top of head no longer works, since my eyes are way past the standard dioptre adjustment; maybe it's time to get an additional adjustment lens and lose the specs. ~ Wallace
