things are pretty slow here still,but we went to our favourite botanical garden in Toronto,and were not disappointed.still need work on these diffusers.lights a bit harsh
common sawfly, perhaps macrophya

shooting in manual mode at about 1/4 power for most stuff.way too powerful out of the box.i left my stofens on the heads,and added 1 layer of vellum paper for these shots.
as you can see they require more,so will keep adding vellum,and hopefully get the light right.it,s a trade off.these are bulky and tough to get in tight places,but no overhang like the cup diffuser which scares a lot of bugs off,as soon as you cast a shadow over them,but diffuses the light better,at least I think so.

Seems Vellum paper is the way to go. Shall order myself some of that.
