Looking for meteors during the last episode and found none. It was a good clear night though so I tried a series of shots of Longview, WA.

I've always wanted to get some shots of the port at night, but that town smells so dang bad I can't stand to be there. Lake Sacajawea is beautiful during the fall.
My employer's main office is there. Dig the photo. Love the PacNorWest.

Thanks for the comment. This area is beautiful year round if rain doesn't bother you. We find rain much preferable to snow and so it doesn't bother us much and it does produce a green, lush landscape.

Thank you Todd. I've checked out your site (several times) and love your work. I've got to try more of this type photo myself.

NIce shot and cool sky colors. I recently drove past there a few times in the middle of the night and boy was surprised on how much light pollution that little city puts out.

Thanks for the comments Robert. This was actually taken from about 7 miles south of Longview, in Kalama. It was a pretty sunset for such a clear sky.

You may not have found meteors that night but you certainly got a amazing shot. I love the colors and composition. The small patch of light from the city in the center is wonderful. Love it!

Thank you Claire - the amazing part for us is that this was taken from what will be our backyard before too long.
