Hey, i was in a hurry and ordered two YONGNUO YN560 III but ive ordered them for i Nikon body, but since these are full manual will they work on my 7D body?

The RF-603 will probaly work perfect but would have been nice to be able to mount one at the camera

Canon 1Dx, Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L, Canon 35mm f/1,4 L, 2x Yongnuo 560 III

Since the YN-560's (I, II, and III) are all manual flashes they do not come in body specific models. A YN560 III is a YN560 III, there is not Canon YN 560 III or Nikon YN 560 III. There is just the YN560 III......it works with any company

So do not fear, it does not matter what the store you ordered it from has it listed as, it will work on any canon or nikon body (as well as pentax and Olympus)

Short answer: Yes, it will work with your 7D

How to create alarm and despondency!! Loads of resellers list the same item under multiple headings so that:-

  • Nikon users don't ignore the item because it says "Canon".
  • Canon users don't ignore the item because it says "Nikon"
  • Etc., etc.
The side effect of this is that, as OP has done, you click "buy" and then panic because it doesn't match the name on the camera in use.

As previous respondents have said, Panic Ye Not. This flash will work with just about any make of camera with a centre contact hotshoe. You do have to be really, really careful when looking and read all the way down to the bottom of the description - so much better than giving yourself ulcers without cause.

Phil ǁ Kershaw Soho Reflex: 4¼" Ross Xpres, 6½" Aldis, Super XX/ABC Pyro in 24 DDS, HP3/Meritol Metol in RFH, Johnson 'Scales' brand flash powder. Kodak Duo Six-20/Verichrome Pan. Other odd bits over the decades, simply to get the job done - not merely to polish and brag about cos I'm too mean to buy the polish!
