Hmmm....

Good catch Roger. May need to tweak that.

Hi Jay, I like the font in number 3, but I don't care for the "17" in B-17G sitting lower than the rest of the designation. Just my two cents.

^^+1 . Just a question, did you do that to accentuate the G to stand out

I think Vladdo reversing the framing and lettering makes it pop more also.

Other than that, I certainly would purchase one. Love your work Jay...

Over black certainly makes it pop more here because it eliminates the white on white, but POTN isn't my target audience, sorry...

I think on white holds its own over a dark color and it will do so in a dark frame as well. I appreciate you making the effort though.

The lowered 17 is strictly a kerning function of the font I chose. I'll need to cover it up and re-type it to get it line up better.

same with the P-38 on your other one, it dropped the 3 to a lower location.

Caught that one...

Now both are fixed. Thanks!

I need to print a demo sheet of every character in those fonts so I can be aware of those kinds of anomalies.

Ha! Nope...

Discovered that it also drops the 5 and the 1 needs to be made slightly taller each time as well. *SIGH*

I like them on white .. I like the quotes and I think a much cleaner end result, especially in a dark frame ... I think the white adds more art feel but I would say depending on the image choice as well. Some may look good in black with color writing .. Just something to consider .

BTW .. will you be at Osh all week ?

I have a 24x36 of the P-38 without the gallery treatment. It's pretty stout if I do say so myself... ;)
