How do speedlites keep up with 12fps?

SMP_Homer Cream of the Crop More info | Apr 30, 2013 14:33 | #3 dunno about this specific instance... but with PW flex stuff, there's a speed cycler option you can use.... setup multiple flashes, and they each take turns going off... say you set 3 flashes, and set off 12 quick shots, each flash took a turn, each getting every 3rd shot, 4 shots each... EOS R6’ / 1D X / 1D IV (and the wife has a T4i)

I used to do the same thing with ONLY 1 580exII attached to a power source at 10fps. for 2-3 seconds I burned 2 flashes that way.
