Canon 16-35L vs. 16-35L II - what's the difference?

I believe the corner are sharper on the II. What else? Should I grab the v.1 I stead of the v.2? TIA

Better flare control, less CA and yes sharper throughout the frame.

As you are using a full frame body you will be happier with the ver. II.
