This is my first post and probably has been covered at some point. I looked through older posts and still have questions. This weekend's wedding had an outdoor reception with low light, as we often have on the gulf coast. I had a much more difficult time than normal getting my camera to focus and fire (I was on center focal point). I eventually set up a small video light on the tripod to provide more light to help focus, but still had issues. What settings (metering mode, af mode, af menu options, speedlight, etc.) do you use in extreme low light to get the camera to focus and release? For example, there were several times the camera focused, but still wouldn't release shutter. Are there ways to over ride this obstacle.
Many thanks,
Robbie
