Nice ones Ishrani, I would love to find a mixed bag like this, I'm getting bored with flies.
Wonderful set!

Thank you so much, Schlagle. None were shot under natural light.

The images in this thread are wonderful, your lighting and post work is excellent.
Would you mind briefly discussing your post processing method?

Also, how do you get to keep the 'critters' still long enough to make these beautiful images?

Are you shooting these with the 100 macro?

Thanks
Pierre

just a few of my thoughts...

Thank you, Pierre. I try not to do much post processing as I find that the better a shot, the less work is needed on it. As I prepare a shot for posting, once I notice that I am spending too much time on it or having to manipulate it more than a little, I tend to ditch it. Yes, I am shooting with a 100 macro. With time, you will learn to be prepared and some of their habits become almost predictable, whereby you can try to determine their next move. It ain't easy but hey, that's what makes macro fun - the challenge, your curiosity, and the hunt!

Wonderful shots and great light.

I am aiming to improve on the light (while still attempting to get the odd shot in focus!) :)
