Just a Mummy Mallard and what I think is her third clutch this year!!

Great shots! I especially like the last, with the berry/pea (?) :-D. I think some of our ducks are on their third, too - at least there are some tiny ones again in nearby ponds. I wonder if it's the extra doses of hot weather?

I know what you mean, there's nothing exotic about Mallard ducklings is there, but they're just too damned cute.

Thanks Rob, and I do like the one with the pea myself, and yes I think the weather may have something to do with it along with possibly rainfall as well.

I have the opportunity to watch duck on a daily basis, Rob. So I've learned over time to recognize them not only by their heads, but also by their rear ends (tippers).:-)
