With a large watermark, it has potential as a logo for a business.
Assuming no watermark (you can't see past it to offer an opinion? Silly.), it's nice- the background is pleasingly blurred, and I CAN see it selling. I'd also like to see more versions of similar photos from you, nphsbuckeye.

I never thought about using it as a business logo, but I knew it had that "look".

That background is courtesy of Zeiss. :D

As for it selling, with all of photography, it's marketing. I'm very good at many things, but I haven't gotten the marketing thing down, yet.

I don't have too many photos comparable to that one off the top of my head. I'll think about it.

Maybe this one? There's a close subject, narrow DoF, and a blurred background. Not noteworthy, but another one.

Jeez, I was serious when I posted that this image would sell on a stock agency site. I have seen many fine works such as this in a doctor's office, business lobby, etc. Someone will put some kind of calming quote with this image and it could very easily be hanging on a wall in a dentist office.
And BTW, the watermark smack dab in the middle is a necessity these days if you don't want other people to steal your work. How many of you have checked this site out? http://stopstealingphotos.tumblr.com/ (external link)
watermarks near the edge are chopped off far too often.

Yeah, I didn't think you were being sarcastic.

And nice info about theft.
