The adjustment brush works and does what it should do, but it no longer leaves the little circle behind over the image. This makes it impossible to go an edit a brush at a later stage. The graduated filter still works as usual and leaves a circle behind (one for each filter applied) for editing at a later stage, as usual.

Has anyone seen this before? I noticed this after upgrading to 4.4. Not in 4.3. Alas, when I restore back version 4.3 (from TimeMachine backup) this problem is NOT corrected. Neither if I restore an older .plist preference file.

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Hi cfibanez...

Doesn't sound like a Lightroom upgrade/version problem.

Try selecting the Adjustment Brush, and then checking in the lower-left corner of the Develop screen just below your photo. There is a click box for "Show Edit Pins". Click on the drop down and select "Always".

Hope that helps.

Also, the "H" key toggles the pins between "hide" and "show".

The H key moves it fom Always to Never or the reverse. You probably touched it inadvertently.

I did the same thing a couple months ago. It took me a couple days to figure out exactly what I'd done.

You think that's bad, I spent two days sitting in the dark before I realised I must have leant on the light switch ;)

You think that's bad, my wife tells me I've been in the dark for years.
