Because it doesn't matter....it's a passport photo.

Take it with a DSLR, phone, kodak point and shoot...no one is going to know the difference, especially between the 100 macro, 135L or 70-200 - regardless of format.

just asking for fun

Now either, start having fun, enjoy the discussion that's going on, or GTFO.

I'd say the 135 2.8 - with SF on.

okay, all in the name of fun :

shouldn't 70-200 @ 200mm give a most pleasant face shape compared to 135 or 100L? :D:D

TBH, i don't see much of a difference from 100mm onwards. e.g. comparing 100mm vs 350mm, maybe the nose appears a tad slimmer? who else can see a difference?

I did my wife's with a 50mm f/1.4. The shot needed to be fairly wide for her country's requirements.

I expected a punchline by now.
OK, I'll play.
Any of below lenses:
Pinhole
Lensbaby
EF 1200 5.6
Samyang 8mm.

Nothing else will work.

Personally I think you should go with the MP-E 65mm macro.

I felt bad for the Sigma getting so few votes, so I voted for it! Hope this helps. :)
