I assume she was wearing jeans and hiking boots under that dress.

She wore jeans and boots going in there. It was a combination of hiking and bushwhacking to reach the tree. Think she's barefoot in the previous photo with the dress.

This shot shows her attire for most treks going Point A to Point B. We've done several treks to photograph among the redwood giants.

Almost no better way.

One restaurant had a photo with me even closer in the foreground, and they said like 8 of 10 people never noticed the person until they pointed out ... and that was with a blue-green shirt.

This image below is another Coast Redwood. It was actually a yellow dress which also jumped out, but for a print yellow didn't seem the best color. So I adjusted the dress yesterday and lightened a heavy shadow on the knee.

In the next 7-8 weeks, thinking to photograph a model next to Hyperion the tallest Coast Redwood and tree in the world. Think I can fit it into a single day's worth of photo shoot. Meet in Orick, swing by Lost Man Creek, then head out and start shooting along the way. Will go for it whether cloud, fog or sun.
