Hi guys...
The other day I was at a store with some friends, looking for a camera for my buddy's girlfriend when I happened upon the Panasonic LX7...the lens speed blew me away...f1.4-2.3 and starting at 24mm equivalent sounds awesome to me!
Now, I know that it has the smaller format sensor (1/1.7", but it's still better than the usual 1/2.3", and the sensor size brings it in line with the likes of the S100, but with a significantly faster lens).
It also has awesome controls, built-in ND filter, etc...so here's my question to those who have it...how do you like it?
I just sold my SD 880 IS and I'm thinking of selling my S100 and putting the money from the two together and buying the LX7 as my compact.
EDIT: Also, I can't seem to find an answer to this...does it have a stabilized lens?? If not, that may be a deal-breaker for me, especially for video...
But I do like the 1/4000s to 60s shutter speeds and the in-camera time lapse...
