We had a great day up on the middle shelf today, with 18 F-15 passes, 10 Hawk passes, 2 Tonka passes a Typhoon and a Herc.
And, the weather was hot.
Here are a few.......

Wow, sunny hot day in the UK. Why wasn't the weather like that when I was flying there? Nice shots!

The aircraft in the 1st shot. Panavia Tornado.

Currently just a P&S, but watch this space.

Thanks for looking and commenting guys.
It was an awesome day.
32 passes in all.
We had heard that US defence cuts had grounded the Eagles,
Not the case, they ripped up the loop.
Dino.

Just for info Dino, the US sequestration cuts have stopped all non-essential flights of the 492nd and 494th Fighter Squadrons out of Lakenheath therefore you won't be seeing any F15E's down low in the UK for the foreseeable future, however the 493rd Squadron are still flying which as you caught is made up of F15C's and F15D's.

Before sequestration the C's and D's were a rare sight down low, but over the last couple of weeks they have probably become the most common jet seen in the valleys! Just a shame I haven't been out to get them!

Nice shots by the way!
