Where did I miss the mark on this photo?

Hello,
I personally would have moved the bride further away from the wall, so there could be some subject separation to make the bride 'pop'/stand out from the background.
Personally I would have shot at a wide aperture with the background distance, and perhaps added some fill flash to light up her eyes.

It's a nice pose and the bride looks quite relaxed. But - the background detracts from the bridal portrait as it is so strong in the image and draws the eye away from the bride - sharply focussed with different colours, so definitely a lower dof would have helped. The bride needs some more light on her and there seems something slightly strange about the white balance (e.g. the bottom of the dress is whiter than the top sections).

The light is flat, she's too close to the wall, it looks like it was underexposed and pulled up in software, also looks like maybe the ISO was high and noise reduction was used but lost sharpness.

Get her further from the wall, try having her 1/4 turned to you when she poses, stretch out her gown at the bottom so it doesn't look bunched up on itself, WB looks off especially with the bouquet ribbon being so dramatically different than the dress, shoot from a slightly higher angle or have her push her head towards you to stretch out and slim her chin area.

She's very pretty with a great, laid back smile. :)

Looks like a bad faceswapping job.

Is it my computer or what? Her face isn't even the same color as the rest of her skin and it looks like it was copied and pasted from another image, or it was out of focus and attempted to sharpen up.

The dress placement is better, the pose is better, the tree is distracting, but before any of that, her face jumps right out at me as something is wrong.

On the second one, it looks like you used a lot of recovery/highlight slider and then dodged the face haphazardly.

The colors are just really odd.

I would be interested in seeing these SOOC.. The processing is really off. Like others have said, you look like you're trying to fix something but not succeeding. I also agree that she's very close to the wall in #1.

I am super cool n' stuff.

I agree with the colors of the face in #2. Personally, I would have underexposed the background by a stop, and fill flashed the subject, to get more pop. Then you don't have to do anything to her in post...
