There's something about this composition that caught my eye, but at the same time there was something nagging me; best I can come up with is it looked warmer and brighter than what I expected of a pier disappearing into the mist; unless of course the mist was just burning off. I played around with it a bit in LR to make it a bit moodier (to my eye) just for the fun of it. I'm just starting to learn Lightroom so this is just an approximation of where I was trying to go; but it was fun to try. Thanks for posting.

I like it too. My first thought was "i kind of want more color". the sand and water contrast good, the fog I like too! Maybe just bump saturation or vibrance a hair?

Yeah after looking at it again maybe it is a bit too warm. Going to try going with a slightly cooler color temp.
